Academic Diaries
Our Academic Diaries start from August, to align with the academic year. A unique feature is the inclusion of Rokuyō, a traditional Japanese system that indicates the luckiness of each day, helping users plan activities on auspicious dates.

六曜 Rokuyō: Traditional Japanese Lucky Calendar

大安 Taian : Lucky all day.
友引 Tomobiki : Good luck all day, except at noon.
先勝 Senshou : Good luck before afternoon.
先負 Senbu : Good luck from noon.
赤口 Shakku : Good luck at noon.
仏滅 Butsumetsu : A day less suitable for celebration.

These characters are the different categories of Rokuyō (六曜).

Rokuyō means six weekdays and each character has a special meaning of fortune.

Rokuyō is a system used by in Japan to determine whether a day will be lucky or less favourable. It plays a significant role in planning important events such as baptisms, weddings, and other ceremonies.

You can also find circles representing Getsurei (月齢), meaning moon phases.

While Rokuyō and Getsurei may not be as widely followed today as they once were, they still hold a special place in the Japanese culture.
